Matching the Page to Life: Positive Representation of Disability

Join me Thursday mornings at the Edmonds Library from 10 am to noon for a free writing group sponsored by EPIC Group Writers. In the first hour, we support each other with inspiration, sharing and free writing to a prompt.

In the 11:00 hour, Annie Carl, disabilities advocate and bookstore owner, returns to our group for a discussion about positive disabled representation in fiction and media. Annie is a high functioning disabled woman and cancer survivor and has talked about disabled rights at several venues including the yearly Pacific Northwest Booksellers Association trade show. You can learn more about Annie and her amazing bookstore at http://www.theneverendingbookshop.com/

Designed for writers of all levels. Drop-ins are welcome!
